Come to the idyllic and enchanting Wild Seeds Ranch to experience a musical voyage through the terrors and ecstasies of rebirth. Accompanied by live cello, harp and percussion, Julia’s wild yet exquisitely cultivated vocal stylings and harmonies lead the way in this mystical and experimental performance of her full concept album, Wound Tapestry.

Wound Tapestry began as a bedroom vocal experiment, a channeling of lost voices and melodies long veiled and hidden. Grief howls, ecstatic cries, neurotic squeaks, angelic calls from on high... This album is a journey exploring themes of confusion and fear, paradox, and truth, leading to a reclamation of the love behind and beyond all appearances. A tapestry woven from the burning threads of longing for the Real.

Julia Rose Rahm is a vocal artist of many persuasions. Her classical vocal training, Sufi spiritual roots, poetry, and theatrical background uniquely infuse her work. Her music draws from opera, chant, experimental, folk, new age, and world music influences.

This performance will be outside with lawn seating, so please bring blankets, and/or low-rise chairs if needed.

Chairs will only be provided at the back of the lawn.

Tickets will be available at the event as well as online.
